Grade 3 - Science
Grade 3 students have a fair understanding of science as a subject. It may not mesmerize them as it did in grade 1 yet it satisfies the craving for knowledge and grasp of a complex phenomenon. At this stage, new scientific terms are introduced but not covered in too much detail
Objectives of teaching Science in grade 3 are:
The motion caused by forces like gravity, friction
Electricity and magnetism with little more elaboration
Weather and climate
Forms of energy like heat, light, sound
Ecology and ecosystem like the balance of nature, adaptations, food chain
